Wisconsin soybeans 89% harvested, corn at 66%
More suitable conditions allowed harvest to progress in Wisconsin last week.
USDA’s latest weekly crop report says soybeans are nearly 90 percent harvested, 11 days behind last year but one day ahead of the five-year average.
Corn harvest is at 66 percent, compared to 69 percent a year ago and 68 percent normally.
Most of the winter wheat crop has emerged, with 68 percent rated in good to excellent condition.
Fall tillage is 54 percent complete, slightly ahead of the usual pace.
