Over the last few decades, a new business model has been maturing. Now this new business model is scaling. If one of your competitors, is not one of these new platform kinds of businesses, then one will be soon. Amazon, Alphabet, Alibaba, Air BNB, and Uber, are all platform businesses.
There are a few things we now know for sure about Platform Businesses. Platforms have extremely high customer retention metrics. Platforms allow and legally invite Peer to Peer interaction. The vast majority of the time when a traditional company tries to compete with a Platform Business – the traditional company lays off workers. Capitol Records vs Napster, Uber vs Cab Companies, Air BnB, vs Travel Agencies.
Platforms are marketed only to the edge of the network, a very small audience. Here often new customers are added to the network at zero marginal cost. And that’s only one reason why Platform organizations can scale at near zero marginal cost. Traditional workflows, will not be able to compete with platform workflows.
That is just the tip of the iceberg as far as things Platform companies do today that traditional companies havent even thought of yet.
Platform transactions (peer-to-peer) function 1,000 times quicker and are 100 times less expensive when compared to traditional workflows. One example would be Real Estate Title where a 300k transaction will take 3 weeks and costs $4,000.00. At the same time, we transfer 300k in Bitcoin and it takes 10 minutes and costs $10.00. The Bitcoin transaction is immutable the title transaction is not. The current Real Estate Title Workflow cost way more and delivers way less. That is only one reason why, Platform transactions are 1,000 times quicker and 100 times less expensive when compared to traditional workflows.
Platforms don’t have assets or liabilities, they have velocity and cash flow.
The Platform integrates service providers and customers directly. The service providers have liability, not the platform. Platforms are built on IoT devices and depend on the unfettered communication of those IoT devices. You can not do any of this, without a network. And if you build your platform around the network, you have a digital platform. And Digital Platforms make Platforms more disruptive.
One of the first examples of this Digital platform is Eco Tours Dot Travel (EcoTours.Travel). Here is a Hospitality and Tourism Digital Platform which provides an interactive peer-to-peer environment, where tour and hospitality operators and customers interact in the app and Network. Indexic.com provides the structure to make all this happen.
EcoTours.Travel has integrated existing technology into a peer-to-peer digital platform today, not tomorrow.
The first Eco Tours and Travel campus is in Lake Isabella California, the agreements we have in place are for events, and kitchen services, facilitated by local individuals and small businesses.
Our online reservation management system and aWaiver software make tour bookings, rental reservations, and signing waivers quick and easy. These services are provided by Indexic, Our online reservation management system, and aWaiver software. This makes tour bookings, rental reservations, and signing waivers quick and easy, and verifiable by anyone on the network. Indexic also provides a white-label freelancer application for Tour and Hospitality fulfillment in-app. Indexic charges a flat 9% for this service. All are facilitated by small businesses with local ownership and equity. Eco-Tours and Travel marks up the local package by 10% and that becomes the client acquisition costs for the local event vendors.
We have fresh baked goods requirements on this campus with 10 to 15k in recurring monthly revenue, and a concession, transporting guests from the parking lot at McNally’s 4,800 feet in elevation to the Sherman Pass at 9,150 feet. At the Summit, guests are treated to a catered lunch and curated trails. 16 guests a day, at 70.00 a head which adds another 20k a month in recurring revenue for the campus.
The addition of a small locally owned robotaxi transportation company would be necessary to complete this campus. This transportation company would also service Eco Tours and Travel Guest, in the app, with transportation services, as well as deliver baked goods daily to local restaurants. Regularly scheduled bakery delivery, Eco Tours and Travel in APP transportation calls, and guest excursions to the Sherman Pass are 20k to 30k a month to the local, or Sovereign Nation-owned transportation company.
We could go with Waymo but would prefer to contract with a Sovereign Nation or Rural Non-Profit organization due to the Capital Readily available to finance such operations, more than 400 Billion available to build out from one federal organization alone. Which is more than enough.
At the end of this process, the Souvergn Nation, or Non-Profit organization should own the asset or Infrastructure, and it should improve the balance sheet and revenue streams of that Non-Profit or Sovereign Nation greatly. What would something like this add to a balance sheet and how do we do this?
Well, take just one of the robotaxi organizations doing this today. Waymo’s 180 square mile campus in Phoenix Arizona. Their robotaxi expansion connected its existing downtown and East Valley territories. The larger operating zone now includes Scottsdale for the first time — and will cover nearly all of Tempe, with additional access to Chandler and Mesa. The company is also making it easier to take a robotaxi to or from the airport with a second Sky Harbor robotaxi pickup spot at the new 24th Street PHX Sky Train Station. The big picture: Waymo’s local territory has nearly quadrupled since the company launched its driverless ride-hailing service to the public here in 2020. It now covers 180 square miles, the largest fully autonomous service area in the world, per Waymo. – source: Arizona Agenda
The Eco Tours Dot Travel Digital platform provides robotaxi services, which could be paid for with utility tokens, CBDCs, or even Sovereign Nation Digital Currencies, or SNDC.
The Eco Tours Dot Travel Digital platform provides in-app Trail information offering accurate, detailed, curated information about the history of indigenous populations along with details describing the local fauna and local geology all along trails. Hikers are made more aware of the geological wonders happening all around them in-app. As this infrastructure is owned and operated by a rural area nonprofit or Sougvern Nation this information is curated by Sovern Nations and locals in rural areas, and not censored by a central organization with a competing agenda. We have set up more than 10 potential Eco Tours Campuses. We belive we could set up campuses just about anywhere on the planet.
Full details regarding the Eco Tours Dot Travel programs and how you can get involved can be found in Chapter 3 of my book, Tokenomics is not Economics here https://bizbuildermike.com/tokenomics-is-not-economics-digital-cx-the-digital-transformation-chapter-3/
The next Digital Platform organization is designed around providing infrastructure, and opportunity to the underserved Sougvern Nations and Rural Areas of These Still United States.
