1. Operational Overview and Tier Strategic Alignment

The Operator Series is hereby designated as the primary Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for the DeReticular ecosystem. While the Nomad and Sentry tiers function as autonomous nodes, the Operator Series comprises the specialized hardware required for human technicians to diagnose, repair, and authorize mesh operations. These tools serve as the critical, non-negotiable bridge between biological operators and the silicon mesh, prioritizing rugged mobility, hardware-backed identity, and advanced spectrum analysis.

Within the “Human Root of Trust” framework, the Sovereign Deck and Sovereign Key fulfill specific strategic roles. The Sovereign Deck is the mobile command terminal for field diagnostics, while the Sovereign Key provides the immutable physical anchor for identity. This architecture ensures that only verified human presence can sign maintenance logs or access restricted dashboards.

“The Mod” (Procedural Commands)

  2. SDR Integration: Open the chassis to access internal USB headers. Install the RTL2832U Software Defined Radio (SDR) module.

Fulfillment Workflow

To prevent supply chain interdiction, a strict “Blank Shipping” policy is in effect.

  1. Intake & Etching: Receive bulk keys. Laser-etch the DeReticular Octagon logo on the touch sensor surround.
  2. State: Keys remain at factory default (blank). No pre-programming is permitted.
  3. Claiming Ceremony: The end-user initiates the identity generation via a dedicated local PC application.
  4. Security Packaging: The Key must be sealed in a tamper-evident blister pack including a Lanyard and a “Recovery Seed” card.

Identity is anchored by the Sovereign Badge (NFT), which is bound to the public key on the physical device. This makes the identity hardware-dependent; transferring the key is the only method for transferring the associated identity.
